LITERACY PROGRAM IMPACTS HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS

Currently three million Americans are behind bars. They are costing our taxpayers hundreds of billions of dollars. We want to change that with vehicles YOU donate. Car Angel c/o Boat Angel Outreach Centers' literacy program has impacted hundreds of thousands with motivational books sent free to inmates and prison libraries in every state of the Union.

We've received thousands of letters which have let us know that we have favorably impacted the lives of inmates around the USA. It takes more than punishment to change a heart; it takes a message of hope and transformation. You can bring that hope to someone behind bars who has none and believes the only chance he or she has is to become a better criminal so they aren't caught the next time. Transformation is possible when a message of hope is brought forth and presented in a way that makes it real and relevant to them. That is part of what we do because we believe in bringing about lasting change in the hearts and minds of those that society has thrown away.

The books are relevant to inmates. Inmates get them and can't get enough because they can actually relate to what they're reading and it grabs their attention and they just can't put them down. Sure, there are lots of books to read in prison but life changing books with hard-hitting messages are what we want to get into the hands of these men and women who so desperately need to see light at the end of the tunnel.
